Ola cabs (www.olacabs.com) was founded by two IIT bombay graduate Bhavish Agarwal and Ankit Bhati in 2010, service went online with in decembed 2010. Its a venture for online car rentals and cab services under ANI Technologies. Olacabs currently has a web portal, a mobile optimized site and a 24×7 customer service centre. It claims to offer iOS and Android apps as well. Recently it has raised Series A funding from Tiger Global partners. Yet Exact amount of the funding is not disclosed by founding members. Their current competitor Savaari Car Rentals Pvt Ltd (a bangalore based Start up) also has just raised Rs 5 Crore in a series A funding from Inventus Capital Partners
